Summer Fun!

Join us on the waterfront every Wednesday from June 1 through September 7!

Stroll along the beach and browse through the Mukilteo Farmers Market in Lighthouse Park (3–7 p.m.). You are sure to find something you just "can't live without."

Enjoy the fresh air and Mukilteo Arts Guild's Open Mic performances in the courtyard of the Red Cup Cafe (6–8 P.M.). Music, poetry, short fiction, comedy, stories by the Mukilteo Historical Society storytellers: there's something for everyone at this wholesome family event.

Better yet, make your own contribution to the fun. Performers range in age from 3 years old to "I'm not saying."

The most unusual performance in 2010 was a chocolate lab that solved math problems and barked out the answers. Let's see if we can top that in 2011.

See a movie at Lighthouse Park. Scheduled for this year are Raiders of the Lost Ark, October Sky, Finding Nemo (sure to be a summer highlight for the young and young in spirit) and Ironman 1. The movies begin at dusk.

Tours of the Art Building and demonstrations by glass artists are offered weekly from 4–8 p.m.

Take advantage of the business specials offered throughout the downtown area.

Plan now to make Mukilteo's Waterfront Wednesdays a part of your summer fun.

Ride The Free Shuttle!

Want to avoid the traffic and hassles of driving to the waterfront? Park on Third Street by the new Rosehill Community Center and ride the shuttle to the Art Building or Lighthouse Park. It's Free!

Shuttles leaves the Rosehill Community Center on the hour and half hour from 4–7 p.m. with stops at the Art Building on Front Street and Lighthouse Park by the entrance to the Farmers Market. See the Waterfront Wednesdays map for information about the shuttle bus route.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the view!.
